Boas Pessoal

sorry to resurrect an old thread.
I thought I'd post this so that others don't have to endure what I had endured earlier today and waste so much time in doing such a simple task for license plate bulb replacement.

Initially I had spent time pondering why I couldn't take out the bulb holder per manual instruction. It just won't budge at all. Try any other thing I could carefully not to damage any thing. Then I started looking at BMW TIS, and it said I need special tool (go figure ). Then I thought I could probably push the bulb holder out from the inside, so I began removing the interior pieces of the trunk lid and the toolbox as well, only to find out later that it is not accesible from there ).

So anyway the procedure is very simple. All you need is flat-screwdriver put it slot and then slide the bulb holder/housing firmly to the right. That's right slide it right, not to left as the manual mentions (the manual instruction is incorrect).

I attached a picture of the bulb holder/housing so that you can see what is the shape of the clip and the spring.

I am just so pissed because something that is so simple like this I had to spent a little over 40 min to do so.
So here you go, next you have to do it it should only take 15 sec each side.... Cheers..!!

Regardz,

Espero que ajude de alguma forma apenas venho confirmar o que já foi dito mas assim como tens a certeza que é assim podes sempre fazer mais força ahaha LOL

Abraço
